Douglas Fairbanks Jr. & Joan Crawford

Douglas Fairbanks Jr. married Joan Crawford in 1929.  their marriage lasted only 4 years, but the split was not due to fighting, just different interests and priorities.  The two remained close friends until her death in 1977.
