Although Julia Roberts and Lyle Lovett's marriage was short lived,
it did make headlines. Many critics were harsh and made
insensitive remarks regarding the union, but we feel it could have
worked out between the two. After all, Lyle Lovett is and
incredibly intelligent and talented individual who seems like a gentle
soul, and Julia is an intelligent and talented actress who seems like
a nice person too, so it's no surprise that their split was amiable
and the two are still friends.
