Like Burns and Allen, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz of I Love Lucy
were one of TV's most popular couples. Off-screen, their
marriage did not last as long as that of Lucy and Ricky, but the
two continued playing their roles on the show and remained lifelong
friends. In addition to being the funniest couple on television,

their own company, Desilu, producing I Love Lucy and several other
