Although Madonna is now married to UK film director Guy Ritchie,
her most infamous liaison was with actor-director Sean Penn.
From their meeting and marriage in 1985 to their subsequent breakup in
1989, the couple made headlines due to fights, and punched-out
photographers. But the biggest sign that this union wasn't going
to last should have been the box office bomb "Shanghai Surprise",
which earned them the name "The Poison Penns. Sean is now
