Phil Spector & Ronnie Spector

She was the lead singer of the Ronnettes, one of husband Phil Spector's famous girl groups.  The two divorced in 1974, but the battles have kept on raging, as Ronnie tried to regain the rights to her songs.  Finally, after years of legal entanglements, Phil paid Ronnie 2.6 Million dollars in back royalties, but alas, Phil still owns the rights to the songs and Ronnie is not allowed to record any new versions of her songs.  Who said the couple that plays together stays together?
